Eight percent sounds like rounding. It is not, and the reason is that accuracy and volume multiply while your intuition adds.
At a hundred tasks a month, eight failures is a nuisance somebody absorbs. At five hundred it is forty, which is a named person’s afternoon every week. At five thousand it is a hire. The same agent, the same accuracy, three completely different operational realities.
Budget for it in the contract
Treat accuracy as a budget you spend rather than a score you achieve. Agree the floor, agree where sub-floor work goes, and agree who owns the queue it lands in. Every deployment we have run that skipped this step generated the same argument in month three.
